Join us Thursday, January 30, 2025 for an empowering day of advocacy with YOUR elected representatives who will consider legislation during the 2025 Maryland General Assembly that will impact people with behavioral health challenges and those who love them.
For a quarter of a century, MCF has served as the voice of Maryland families, ensuring their voices are heard at all levels of local and state government. Family Day in Annapolis is YOUR opportunity to join us in elevating family voice with our state representatives, ensuring they understand the lives impacted by the decisions they make.
You are invited to join us for lunch to hear from key state officials and leaders from behavioral health organizations providing crucial services to our loved ones. We'll review the legislation under consideration in the General Assembly this year and help you make sense of how these will impact you and your loved one. Then, you will have the opportunity to meet with elected officials and/or their staff in their offices to share your story and help them understand why their vote is so important to you.
MCF offers transportation, as well as meals, and there is no cost to participate.
Registration is required if anyone over 18 to attend this event. Students over 12 years of age can attend with their parent or caregiver.
This event is offered at no cost to the families, youth, and partners who attend. MCF's ability to do this is made possible by generous sponsorships from our community. Please consider becoming a sponsor to help us bring family voice to Annapolis!
