Family Leadership Program (Howard County)

Howard County parents and caregivers of school-aged children with mental health challenges: This is for YOU! Join MCF for a FREE 2-day training event, in partnership with the Howard County Office of the Local Children’s Board, designed to empower and support you in navigating your child’s behavioral health needs.

Dates: November 15^th  & 16th

You’ll learn how to: Better understand your child’s behavioral health needs; Navigate special education services & other important systems; Advocate for your child, yourself, & your community.

What’s included: Meals, an overnight hotel stay, and stipends for childcare and transportation for eligible participants.

Eligibility: Must be a Howard County resident; Must be a parent or caregiver to a school-aged child with mental health challenges; Must be able to attend both days.
